FOUR CABINS AND A PAGODA
The present exhibition contents five paintings. Each one portrays a different building. Four of them are cabins located in Boone at Horn in the West. Some pioneers of the eighteen-century in this area built them. The fifth painting represents a pagoda, located in Boone and built some years ago by Mr. Chen, a professor at ASU from China as his actual residence.
So, even from different periods and cultures, all these constructions have the common factor to have been built by their own inhabitants; they reflect a heritage from their native countries. They have been depicted by Félix de la Concha, himself an immigrant from Spain.
